The increase in the number of new channels, e-commerce, social networks…, lead to a sweeping change of the relation between point of sale and shopper.
The omni connected consumer has got choice and plenty of time to compare, search for information, shop 24/7 from anyplace.
Faced with this new environment and virtual contacts through the Internet, the consumer wants to be surprised by a different experience in point of sale and looks for unexpected concepts that are filled in emotions, and where its services’ expectations can be fulfilled.
EQUIPMAG 2012 deciphered all these opportunities and trends.
EQUIPMAG: the place for Retail trends. Stores need to use twice the imagination to give new magic to their points of sale and make them into places providing a unique experience. This is what EQUIPMAG 2012 highlighted, with events based on innovations embodying the "Customer Experience", as well as a space dedicated to mobility.
EQUIPMAG and Eco Responsibility. Consuming differently is emerging as a new value for developed societies. After the recent economic crisis, shoppers will give new meaning to their consumption. EQUIPMAG decoded the trend of new moral contracts that brands need to make with their customers, and analyzed how to integrate them into the point of sale: green design and sustainable development were the central themes of the trade show.
EQUIPMAG goes International. A well-known, clearly recognized trade show; a distribution market in France, which leads some brand stores to assert that France is the key to deployment for stores in Europe. EQUIPMAG is becoming more international. The proportion of foreign exhibitors and visitors has doubled since 2008.
EQUIPMAG and Design. Designers, agencies, ideas and concepts were in the spotlight in 2012. In a differentiated approach, design is a response to the prospect-oriented approach that generates turnover for retailers. The Design Area, in the heart of the show, was a good example of this.
Nearly 500 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors were expected for this exhibition. It was a remarkable pool of trends, concepts, ideas, materials, technologies, solutions and innovations, which provided everything your customers and prospective customers were seeking in order to develop and capture new markets.
For three days, EQUIPMAG 2012 was the physical social network for the world of retail!
Next edition: September 16 to 18, 2014!
